Daedalus, a master craftsman, fashioned wax wings for himself and his son Icarus in order to escape exile in Crete. Daedalus warned his son to not fly too high or else the heat of the sun would melt the wings. Icarus, in his sheer exultation at being in flight, lost track of himself and flew too near the sun. The wings made of wax melted and he plummeted to his death.
My goal on the website is to not make wax wings. I want to be a purveyor of information for my readers. I want to provide my readers with excellent race coverage. I want to provide my readers with blogs and interviews from well known runners and some which you should be introduced to. I want to supply my readers with fantastic photos and video coverage.
By doing this I hope that through the hits I receive I can attain some advertising on my website . This advertising will be the gateway through which an Olympic Development program can be created. I want to be able to supply housing, medical, quality coaching, and quality athletes with an atmosphere, at altitude, which will continue to bring about the American distance running revolution.
Please leave me comments, suggestions, criticism, and anything else that comes to your mind. I want this to be successful and I need your help. If you want to be a part of the revolution please send me an e-mail at RawkusRunner@yahoo.com. I need people across the country to provide coverage.
